Oooof. A bit overdone I’d say, unless he can show how Ted Cruz is actually a liar.
Cruz said Trump bulldozed a house that is still standing. Sounds like a lie to me.
“It made him rich â like when Trump colluded with Atlantic City insiders to bulldoze the home of an elderly widow for a limousine parking lot at his casino,” the ad says.
The ad shows a structure being bulldozed. False ad. Trump did not bulldoze the house.
Trump is turning into a combination of John Boehner and Mitch McConnell.
Really getting tiresome. Trump us wearing me out.
So now that Trump thinks he has the GOP nomination all wrapped up, he is working to alienate Cruz supporters going into the general? Shouldn’t he be doing the opposite?
There’s a large contingent of conservatives that like both men, Donald and Ted.
This exchange with the Morning Moron doesn’t do Donald any good. If he will do this to a fine American like Ted, he will do it to anyone.
But I don’t take it seriously because back in early December at a rally Donald commented how much he really liked Ted Cruz, that Ted was the only one he really admired but shaking his head.....Ted’s numbers were low...not good, not good ....
And then Donald let loose with this:
“Although I really like Ted Cruz, his numbers are very low but if they were to rise up and approach my own, then I WOULD HAVE TO DECLARE WAR ON HIM”. (Donald smiled and chuckled as he said this)
So this is what is happening. Donald is doing all of this in order to put a dent in Cruz’ numbers in Iowa.
I don’t know a lot about Iowa but the GOP candidates they have chosen recently are not near 100% conservative. The chosen candidates are more in the ‘sincere’ category than in some ideological corner. So I don’t know what to think unless Iowans value ‘getting along’ and telling the truth more than Ronald Reagan type conservatism. If this is the case, then Donald’s invective may have impact.
On the other hand, Ted Cruz is very sincere and if Iowans value sincerity above ‘getting along’, then Donald has possibly hurt himself.
At this point, I think it will be best if Donald and Ted land a few points apart in Iowa next week, almost a statistical tie. It will induce respect in both candidates for each other and scare the bejeezus out of the GOPe.
Defeat of the GOPe should be the prime directive here.
Donald and Ted together will eviscerate the GOPe. Separately, it’s not a given because of a possible brokered convention where Jeb Bush or his proxy would have power (Jeb can lay hands on the ‘superdelegates’).
This from the man who still claims he saw thousands of Muslims in New Jersey celebrating 9/11 on TV.
Watched that interview this morning. He seemed pretty irritable. Wonder why, since he’s leading in the polls.
I would phrase it as Ted is lying or twisting Trumps’ words and flat wrong. That’s what Trump meant.
I wonder if this means Cruz will not select The Donald as his running mate?
Probably a good guess.
More relevant, Cruz will be back as a Wall Street Lawyer junior $inator like Obama and were.
So much for the bromance
This last week will be mean like when Hitler drank tequila...really mean
There is some truth in what Donald says with regards to Cruz in the Senate
Problem is most here including myself see his behavior as justified usually and far less pejorative than the Senate itself
Just wow.
I keep saying that, while Cruz is my first choice head and shoulders above everyone else, Trump is my second choice and I don’t have a third choice, its Cruz or Trump, and thats it.
Trump and Cruz have finally had to drop the defacto alliance, and I’m sorry to see it.
Still, there are lines that they should not cross if they expect their opponent’s supporters to rally around them after the primary. Most people will want to bury the hatchet and go after the Democrats as a united front, but it isn’t automatic and it isn’t a blank check. If you don’t respect your opponent, at least respect your opponent’s supporters who you will need.
Poor widdle Donny, has to get the MSNBC libtards to air his rants.
I had hope some months ago. Now I am just sickened by the whole thing. What could Trump possibly gain by calling Cruz nasty and wacko. The dems are laughing their asses off at this crap, the hope I had is gone.
What surprises me is how quickly people have forgotten how every election the American people get railroaded and get the “candidate” the great and powerful oz MAKES them have. I have recovered from my Trump drunk stupor and realize what is ahead. We had Dole, McCain and Romney throw elections and nothing, NOTHING in the future will ever change.
REAL PRESIDENTIAL there Donald /s. Now who has the right temperament?
