Wonder how much that cost Trump? No matter, he won’t win the nomination. Delegates are controlled by the states and that is controlled by the GOPe. Rubio will win the nomination.
I think Rubio is on the way out. He’s not catching fire, so they’re going to ensure no one gets a majority so they end up with a brokered convention. Cruz or Trump won’t drop out so that leaves Paul, Rubio, Carson, Fiorina, Bush, Huckabee, Santorum, Gilmore, Santorum...am I missing any?
They need a couple of those to catch fire. I’d push Paul to get all of Ron Paul’s old support. I’d push Fiorina as the female to counter Hillary.
Don’t know if it would work, but a brokered convention is about their only choice right now, and if they can keep Cruz strong, and get some strength out of the others, then a brokered convention is not a pipe dream.
