What a joke. That’s no criteria at all. Let’s see him do something no one supporting Trump has ever managed to do from a Christian/conservative perspective: give a coherent account of why anyone should vote for Trump.
On Facebook I have leftist “friends” who chat about how Trump is to the left of Bernie Sanders on some issues. This is getting ridiculous.
Jerry Falwell Jr introduced Trump when Trump gave a speech at Liberty University.
He laid out all of his reasons for liking and supporting Trump.
Just because you didn’t hear it doesn’t mean he didn’t “give a coherent account of why anyone should vote for Trump.”
The most conservative guy with the best chance of winning was William F. Buckley’s standard.
It sounds like Jeffress and Falwell are following that guidance.
