Falwell probably endorsed from his home and not from his office.
As an individual he can endorse whomever he wishes. Speaking for the university, he’ll have his donor’s gift’s tax deductibility threatened by liberals.

Two big preachers in two days
I’ll be fighting long and hard against big-government liberals like Trump, as long as there is a battle to be fought. I’m not kidding myself, he’s likely to win and do his part in destroying what’s left of America (like Bush and Obama and Clinton before him), but someone has to stand for limited government and conservative principles.
If a pro abortion, anti gun, pro gay, east coast liberal with three wives and through the roof unfavorable is our best conservative choice this country is done. Stick a fork in us.

Cruz voted FOR TPA at the same time as he was STILL pushing huge increases in H1B visas. He said research shows that immigrants create jobs.

The donation was to a friend of Falwell’s from Trump. It was non-political.
