Donald Trump: I’ve always had good relationships with Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid
The Washington Times ^ | 1/26/2016 | David Sherfinski

Posted on 01/26/2016 8:01:46 AM PST by agrarianlady

"I've always had a good relationship with Nancy Pelosi. I've never had a problem," Mr. Trump said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe." "[Harry] Reid's going to be gone. I always had a decent relationship with Reid, although lately obviously I haven't been dealing with him, so he'll use my name as the ultimate ... of the billionaires in terms of people you don't want."

"But I've always had a great relationship with Harry Reid," Mr. Trump said. "Frankly, if I weren't running for office, I'd be able to deal with [Pelosi], I'd be able to deal with Reid -- I'd be able to deal with anybody."

"But I think I'd be able to get along very well with Nancy Pelosi and just about everybody," he said. "Hey look, I think I'll be able to get along well with Schumer, Chuck Schumer. I was always very good with Schumer. I was close to Schumer in many ways."

I guess $96K is small potatoes to CRuzers.

That’s a lot of house, cars, college, groceries for most.

If that’s not enough pieces of silver, how about the $251K that Peter Thiel, founder of PayPal, donated to his failed TX AG run, or the $1M the same donor gave to Club for Mexico’s Growth, as the largest single donor to the most generous outside group backing Cruz??

Free golf and gambling at his casinos? Without a super majority how do we get our agenda passed? Executive orders? Trump says lock them in room and make a great deal. He has made great deals in his life. It is uncomfortable but what is alternative? Status quo?

It is uncomfortable but what is alternative? Status quo?

No, gridlock, where Congress can’t undermine us anymore, and veto power.

So Trump didn’t take money, land and tax breaks from for his projects from various Democratic run State and City? He got a 100 times that just from Atlantic City alone.

The D's and R's next to their name are a ruse designed to make us think our vote matter, when it clearly doesn't matter at all.

So let’s say Trump asked Congress for the Wall and they say what will you give us in return?

What if it is “We will pass a bill for the Wall, an its funding and you in turn, allow Obamacare to stand,” then what?

The big money is the Super Pac money. Over 30 million so far from 3 donors. The new filings are due at the end of the month.

Reporting dates http://www.fec.gov/info/report_dates_2016.shtml#monthly

I fully expect to see a wad of Super Pac money lining up behind Ted. Keep your eyes open on Feb 1, 2016, the morning of the caucus.

The Super Pac money had to go somewhere folks. We know Trump isn’t taking any.

Just goes to show you that even very influential and respected men say stupid stuff sometimes. Like swearing on Beck’s super secret compass.

Did Trump say he would repeal Obamacare in favor of free-market principles?

Yes

Has he spoken out about big government being a problem?

Yes

Has he even bothered to say taxes are too high?

Yes

But you would have to actually care what he says to know that.

Yep. I’ve been watching the PAC money. We’re already getting Cruz PAC ads in FLorida. On Levin’s show naturally.

Also, I notice Team Cruz has gone radio silent on his false FEC statements. Cruz seems quite comfortable being in violation of the law. I’ve no doubt there is other financial issues lurking because it’s clear that Cruz has no problem playing fast and loose.

Listen to his speeches and read his position papers. you have already made up your mind so I don’t know if you will bother with the research. Thank you for your civil reply.

It’s either one or the other, both attacks can’t possibly be true at the same time.

Actually they can. A lot of companies have useless employees, because they know someone or are related to someone.......or know where the boss sleeps with the secretary.

Nah, it makes no sense. If he was a Chamber of Commerce stooge, he would get along just fine with all the other Chamber of Commerce stooges, but we know that he does not.

Look Don, this is real simple. You have money... Nancy & Harry wanted it. Now that you are in the game wearing an “R” on you’re back things will be different.

If it is really the only choice you say ok. Build the wall. A victory gets you more public approval. More votes in house and senate and you then kill obamacare. Simply because you win one issue, lose another does not mean you can never visit that issue you lost on again. Once you have those super majorities you do not lose.
