It was never "Bush's fault", it was always the "media's fault".

Bush refused to fight in public for what was right, thereby leaving his supporters high and dry.

We'll be paying the for his diffidence for decades to come.

Bingo. That and his “peaceful, friendly religion” nonsense were two of the major blunders of his Administration.

I agree Bush’s omissions hurt America far more than many things he did. Even many of the mistakes like “ no child left behind” we’re his capitulation and unwillingness to fight liberal BS.
