I'm telling you that you should give him a try, if you haven't done so recently.

His "Anderson Cooper 360" show has developed into the best political show on TV, IMO.

He has politicos from just about every spectrum, and they talk/debate issues and campaigns and politics in general. They talk. They don't yell. They don't scream over each other. Conservatives and Republicans are treated fairly... not preferentially, but fairly. Cooper's job is mostly to moderate the discussions.

Yeah, there are pure political hacks on the show... what show doesn't have them?... but it's mainly kept issues-based. Nobody gets by with flat-out lying. And most of the time, their panel dissects the interview immediately afterwards so nobody gets by with crap. Like Hillary's spokesman... he gets shot down by the panel all the time for lying. There's a Bernie guy to take care of that, so it's actually a D who is critiquing the interview.

It is such a far cry from what I remember about CNN when I last watched 10 years ago.

Take a night off Megyn Kelly and give it a go.

Disclaimer: This is not the Anderson Cooper who clowns around on New Year's Eve. I don't stand by that version of him.

I can’t. W don’t have cable & almost never watch tv.

Really? Well, that would be good news. lol The last time we watched any kind of news show, we probably yelled at it. If I get a chance- like if we go out of town, I’ll try to catch his show. Now, I’m curious.
