A powerful personality that can harness the power of people is like any other tool. It can be used for good or ill.

Well, politically speaking, who is more likely to do good? Someone with principles or someone without? Either type can be charismatic.

The comment wasn't intended to be construed as a desire to engage in political conjecture or to see who measured up to who's particular yardstick.

It was merely to point out Hitler is not the only example of a charismatic leader.
