Trumpets to attack Sessions in 3 ... 2 .... 1
Obvious conclusion: Jeff Sessions is a globalist commie
(Sarcasm-Flag)
Were was Cruz on TPA when Sessions was waning against it? Oh that’s right, cruz said Sessions was “just wrong”.
LOL!
That took 4 minutes. Trump must have had pizza delivered.
Sessions is a good guy. If he says so, I’ll take him at his word.
Cruz and his surrogates keep confusing the issue: Nobody, not even Sessions, not Lee, not even Rush Limbaugh, was opposing legalization of illegals back then (provided it came after border secure and without citizenship).
“I have never said, whatever number are here illegally, “Round ‘em up and deport ‘em.” It isn’t realistic. We have to stop the influx. So you can’t pose a question to me, “Okay, Mr. Limbaugh, after we secure the borders...” the borders are key. And then we come up with a plan, I could give you two or three of them that would help legalize these people if they’re willing to assimilate. We don’t want a Balkanized America, and that’s what this is leading to. It’s just a matter of following the law”

Cruz opposed the same thing they all opposed: a pathway to citizenship and immediate legalization without securing the border.
Cruz supported legalization after border security, which is something he won’t tell the truth about and which none of his surrogates will even talk about:
And Iâd like to make a final point to those advocacy groups that are very engaged in this issue and rightly concerned about addressing our immigration system, and in particular about addressing the situation for the 11 million who are currently in the shadows. If this amendment is adopted to the current bill the effect would be that those 11 million under this current bill would still be eligible for RPI status.** They would still be eligible for legal status and indeed under the terms of the bill they would be eligible for LPR status as well, so that they are out of the shadows, which the proponents of this bill repeatedly point to as their principle objective â to provide a legal status for those who are here illlegally to be out of the shadows. This amendment would allow that to happen â¦
And a second point to those advocacy groups that are so passionately engaged. In my view if this committee rejects this amendment, and I think everyone here views it as quite likely this committee will choose to reject this amendment, in my view that decision will make it much, much more likely that this entire bill will fail in the House of Representantives. I donât want immigration reform to fail. I want immigration reform to pass, and so I would urge people of good faith on both sides of the aisle, if the objective is to pass common sense immigration reform that secures the borders, that improves legal immigration, and that allows those who are here illegally to come in out of the shadows, then we should look for areas of bipartisan agreement and compromise to come together and this amendment â I believe if this amendment were to pass the chances of this bill passing into law would increase dramatically, and so I would urge the committee to give it full consideration and to adopt the amendment.”

This is an undeniable truth. There simply exists no record that contradicts it from that time period, and Cruz went on to support legalization (after border security) even as recently as March of this year, until he went mum for 9 months evading questions and giving lawyerly answers on the subject.
He turned against TPA because he said Mitch McConnell and the party leadership had lied to him about what they intended to attach to the bill (Export Import Bank, etc).
âThere are a number of Republicans on that [debate] stage who support TPP, who support [Trade Promotion Authority (TPA)],â Cruz said, according to the Des Moines Register. âI voted against TPA, and I intend to vote against TPP.â

Cruz came up with that s*** after his facebook page was bombarded by thousands upon thousands of former supporters. So he comes up with the lie that he fell for McConnell's lies, and not that he actually has a problem with giving Obama and up or down vote on TPP. Cruz even voted against amendments to TPA that would have given Congress power to determine who we will or will not join into agreement with.
That is an assumption on your part.
No it's not, You don't vote or campaign the way he did on TPA and its amendments unless you're part of the establishment. Cruz has hungry hungry megadonors who want the trillions of dollars at stake with TPP. It doesn't take a rocket science here to put it together.
Thanks for the poo flinging!!!!!
You heard Jeff Sessions. He said that Ted Cruz was on his side of the Amnesty bill from start to finish.
And despite all your hair splitting, Ted Cruz has maintained between a 97%-100% conservative/pro-liberty rating with a host of conservative organizations. He is a tried and true conservative who has stood the test of time. And yet you gadflies swarm his good name like he was Nancy Palosi.
Your reply doesn’t change the fact that you are making an assumption that you cannot prove except by innuendo. Epic fail.
Stop being uncharitable. It looks bad on those who wear it. Kudos to Cruz for standing with Sessions on that bill. Sessions is the “one good man” in the Senate.
As soon as Cruz is typed he responds with some canned, half baked quip.
