I like what he says too. However, I look at what he’s done and had said, and I get very concerned. He doesn’t have a good record. I think he does whatever he likes at what time he likes to get the results that he wants.
I honestly hope if he’s elected that he will be a strong fiscally responsible, Constitution believing conservative, but I don’t see it.
Too many Americans are putting their hope in man and not in God where it belongs.
To me, Trump is the second best candidate. And until he forced Cruz to come out against amnesty, he was the best.
Now I pretty well prefer Cruz, but Trump is still way ahead of the Rubio, Jeb, Kasich, Christie, Carson and the whole rest of the gang.
He’s also the most likely candidate right at this point.
Also interesting at this point is whether the GOPe, if they couldn’t stop a Cruz nomination, would go to court arm-in-arm with the Dems to fight Cruz’s eligibility. That IMO could either knock Cruz out or weaken him such that, especially coupled with a Bloomberg third-party run, Cruz would have no chance in the general.
My guess is that the hedge-funded and Goldman-funded Cruz would strike a deal with the Establishment to stop that from happening, but I’m not totally certain.
