You seem to have this illusion of actually "owning" property.

I have LOTS of property, and it's all paid off.

It's the weirdest thing, though - I get these letters twice a year claiming that I have to pay somebody, or they're going to take THEIR land back from me.

I get confused by that.

I already said I didn’t disagree with you on that front.

I also own properties with no mortgages. My annual property tax bill is about the average per capita income of someone in the US... No income from any of it... It makes me real grumpy...
