What you are now seeing is the GOP Elite that despise Cruz and Trump making a choice between the two. Cruz believes in the Constitution as written, but the GOP Elite and Trump do not. They think Rubio will not win the game in the GOP primaries, thus they have now decided to to deal with the devil that will deal with them as opposed the Cruz the Constitutionalists. The GOP Elite hate and loath Trump but this is minor compared to the hatred of Ted Cruz.

Thus Trump is now their guy.

If Trump were a conservative he’d be ASHAMED of having the likes of Babbling Bob Dole and Trent Lott supporting him. I know if Dole supported Cruz it would give me paus.

Which is one of the main reason’s I will vote for Trump.

It is so astonishing to me that the gope is so blind to the mood of conservatives. Dole’s endorsement of Trump is almost certain to give Cruz a boost.

Rather than understand what’s going on and change their behavior to serve the voters, they try everything they can to keep their positions of privilege, without any material change.
