Trump Says That Megyn Kelly Should Not Be Allowed To Moderate Next Debate
Young Conservatives ^ | 1/23/2016 | Andrew Mark Miller

Unless you live in outer space you probably heard about the controversy between Megyn Kelly and Donald Trump that stemmed from the Fox News debate where Megyn asked Trump a question he didn't like and he made a comment about her that a lot people were upset about. The jabbing has continued and recently Megyn Kelly said in an interview that Donald tried to "woo" her before the debate by calling her and sending her letters. Trump responded and basically called her ugly.

If you thought the feud was over. Think again.

Donald J. Trump/ @realDonaldTrump "Based on @MegynKelly's conflict of interest and bias she should not be allowed to be a moderator of the next debate."

There is no way that Fox would allow Donald Trump to boycott a debate and miss out on the millions of viewers he brings and they aren't going to ditch their rock star Megyn Kelly either so not sure what effects this stance will have. However, it is a pretty shrewd move from Trump to play up how unfair the media is which allows him to basically dismiss any question he doesn't like as unfair. Regardless of what side you are on in this feud we can all agree that we will be tuning in when they square off next.

I hope Trump gets a chance to respond to any of her gotcha questions with, “That is not what Brit Hume said in 2013, when he said...” He should just keep quoting Brit Hume in his answers to the Bleeding Gal.

The Republican Party did not hate Reagan. We elected him despite the Bob Dole and Mitch McConnell Rockefeller wing of the party. Well at least I voted for him 3 times. I have no idea if you were even old enough.

Megyn is biased against Trump. At this point Trump should just hold a rally instead of the debate.

Conflict brings more viewers. I wouldn’t be surprised if Fox and The Donald decided on this strategy, the viewership of this debate will hit the “stratosphere” and that benefits both Fox and Trump.

Yes they did.

Once again the Bush wing of the Republican party went after Reagan hard, and would not endorse him unless he took George as his VP. That’s historic fact.

I like the Reagan Wing of the Republicans. I cannot STAND the Bush wing. They are DNC with Rs by their names to keep conservatives in check.

Oh and you know the audience will be 95% for Jeb even though he polls anywhere from 3 to 7% nationally.

It will be a TOTAL HAND PICKED ESTABLISHMENT audience to make their boy Jeb look good.

I'm so sick of Fox News and their Establishment bias.

Reagan win twice in landslides with greater than 94% of Republicans voting for him. To say the Party hated him is simply bs. A small elitist element hated him.

So any woman who does not wear high necklines and does not cut her sexy locks (whatever that is supposed to be) has a slutty image? Hmmm, wonder what Melania would say...

This.

When one supposedly on our side is not really on our side, then why should we viewers consider her a viable option as a moderator of the debate? We already get screwed by the other moderators why should we be ok with getting screwed by one who is supposedly on our side?

I saw that “debate” and what MK did to Trump, and not any other candidate, proves she isn’t on our side. Then, she as a woman, expected not to be hit back by Trump, and proceeded to cry and use the media to stick her point while not allowing any response to the contrary, proves just how biased she is.

She used the liberal media, which is against anything conservative, to slam Trump on and on and on.

He scares them because he doesn’t need the Media to get his message out.

I saw MK for the establishment “journalist” that she is and it only increased my support of Trump. If a male journalist had questioned Trump as she did and he fought back then this wouldn’t even be an issue.

Yep, it will be an establishment hand-picked audience.

Is this the last debate?

If the media eliminates all the moderates with a conflict of interest, there will be no one left to run the debate.

RE:”There is no way that Fox would allow Donald Trump to boycott a debate and miss out on the millions of viewers he brings and they aren't going to ditch their rock star Megyn Kelly either so not sure what effects this stance will have. “

Trump will be there.

He has no leverage over FNC on this.

Chris Wallace said that he laid down the rules for Trump : 'If you want me to interview you on FNS then you will be on camera'. And Trump has repeatedly given in on that.

Trump gets away with simple phone in interviews on MSNBC and the TV networks but not on FNS.

I hope Kelly asks questions that get him upset again.

I wont miss it.

IMO, FOX looks bad for having her as a moderator, it is CLEAR that she has a major problem with Trump. However, I am very confident Trump can handle anything they throw at him.

He absolutely needs to participate in the debate. I would be disappointed if any of the top 3 or 4 bowed out.

I am amazed at all the comments from the Trump camp saying that Megyn Kelly is “not on our side” and therefore should not moderate the debate. Can you produce any evidence that she is on Cruz’s, Carson’s, Bush’s or any other candidate’s “side”? If no, she is ideal to moderate the debate.

If Trump is trying to pick and choose who should ask questions, I shudder to think what the White House press corps will look like in a Trump Administration.

Too many so-called Freepers are apparently not so much in favor of freedom. On the contrary, they seem to want a demogogic overlord who makes Obama look like a libertarian.
