to be honest, after “borrowing” basic and then “buying” DOS Bill was far more a bussiness man than a tech guy.

He “made a deal” with IBM that netted him a great amount of clout for very little innovation. He was a very good deal maker..

100% correct. he pitched to his strengths, and coding was not one of them.

No, just lucky. Had IBM gotten off their @$$ and shipped OS2 on schedule, we would all be saying "Bill who?"

His creation of "Windows" wasn't luck at all. He was working for Apple at the time he produced it.
