What amazes me is how little NEW Testament is brought into the picture.
People were still being indulged in the idea that they could earn a blessing. That was the whole premise of the Law.
Jesus tells us, I passed the Law’s test, and I also earned the blessing. It’s yours free as a gift. Take it!
When people seriously do, then hatred starts to melt away and pretty soon sin melts away too.
Exactly! Almighty God, while long suffering, will not allow this slaughter to continue.
Isaiah 13:17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for .... they come like men in battle formation to attack you, Daughter Babylon.
Does Obama believe abortion on demand should have been legal in 1961?
Would he have been okay with his mother deciding to have an abortion if it were legal to do so in 1961?
In the meantime, Jesus says, let the little children come unto Me.
This means (normally) they live and hear the Gospel and meet Him.
This can’t happen if we’re killing them!
A gospel-hearted society would grasp this at once and hearts of love would demand, no more abortions!
Amen to that brother!
Celebrating 45 years of turning our back on God and His blessing of Life. Hardly an affirmation of freedom. More of this Country pledging allegiance to Satan.

If something good could be said, it is that the vast majority of the slain unborn weren’t being dedicated to a Baal... more like they were being just swept under the rug, forgotten. We could talk about a “god of convenience” but still, if at PP, they had magic wands to make the pregnancy not have ever happened, they’d use them; there isn’t a positive sacrifice to a positively worshiped god happening here. So there still is a qualitative difference and it can in fact be attributed to the remaining presence of the Lord.
We can thank the Lord for little favors like this.
And, to follow on to my last comment... maybe at some point there could be something like a group funeral service to all these slain unborn, dedicating them to the Lord, in which as many Americans that wished could participate through some kind of media connection. That might also help defuse the Baal factor, as sinful as what happened was.
A football stadium of Trayvons and Michael Browns is what you’d likely be looking at.
Freedom, for whom, exactly?
No one has ever explained how abortion benefits anyone except for the abortionists who make big profits off of baby killing without worry of being prosecuted for it.
I don’t need any more evidence that _resident Hussein isn’t a Christian.
“Affirmed freedom” for the murdered babies means death, being torn apart and being sold for “parts”. Great...just great.
It’s “Suffer little children...” , not “Suffer, little children.”
People constantly pray for miracles to find answers to sickness and human suffering. G-d says he answered those prayers but you killed them before they were born.
Not Baal, or Molech, but the ‘god’ of convenience, gratification, lust, and greed. Same ‘god’ (Satan), just going by a different name.
Still not exactly equivalent. The babies were positively presented to the old gods. Now they are held as nuisances to be forgotten. (The mothers are presenting themselves to the new gods of convenience, if we must. Ceteris parabus here.)
The baby parts scandal was the scandal that it was because it now brought in elements of the positive offering of the baby.
“Freedom” defined by the right to kill. Unreal.
Equal protection clause for the unborn human life to pursue life, liberty and happiness is stolen from them by government law taking away that right.
That is the lefts definition of freedom.
