It is possible to hold a position on immigration that is principled, even if it is different from your position on the issue. Cruz on immigration is principled. Likewise Sanders is principled, even though he is wrong on most issues.
There are many of us conservatives who are not establishment who say: Let the free market decide on immigration. We do not hold that position because of lobbyists.
