Two people with nearly 100% name recognition polling at 40-41%...

***********************************************

To me it is astounding that among 15 or so candidates, Trump has 41%. Not surprising that Hillary’s numbers are 40%, having basically, only one opponent.

This is a two person poll... hypothetical head to head matchup.

40% is not a winning number in this kind of poll.

With Trump, the old name recognition gauge does not really apply. With Trump it is policy recognition that goes with the name. People have been waiting to see where he stood on their key issues. Every time he comes out strong on an issue, his polling tends to jump up.

What is going on now is the old democrat tactic of trying to drive a wedge between Trump and the conservative base. I have to laugh when a democrat is complaining that Trump is not a real conservative. They tried to drive a wedge between Trump and women, but failed massively.

These are awesome numbers for Mr. Trump.
And I think the enthusiasm will lead to a great Trump victory over Mz Clinton.
