“Ve are here to take your firearms.
Your firearms please.”
Common sense to these people is like deodorant. Those that need it the most don’t use it.
You can have the rounds when they are expended. You can have the magazines when they are empty. You can have the guns when I'm dead.
“So, will the local LEO’s be going door to door to ensure that these evil “unsafe” weapons are safely secured by “law abiding citizens” and locked away?”
They certainly do that in Europe now. Want to own a gun, then you MUST consent to surprise inspections.
if they are in the home they ARE locked up.
Does liquor, addictive meds, knives etc need to be locked up..
More lib BS
New Jersey and New York have strict sport utility Rifle laws.
They are largely ignored. Of the approximate 1 million owned in New York, about 4% have been registered in compliance with the States SAFE Act. New Jersey has had similar success.
Good luck with that one, Washington State.
It would be good and well deserved if they pushed this through.
It could be the first chance at waking up Washington State voters.
The response and revolt could be overwhelming and refreshing.
Yes, because criminals intend to go out and buy safes so they can store their weapons.
More LOONY LEFT crap.
You would have thought that with the intergalactic background checks but, no. One word—————seattle
Oh, but wait. The way ruthie stated it was that law abiding citizens would be required to store/lock up these “unsafe” firearms. No mention of the bad guys having to lock theirs up.
If there are 1 million unsafe firearms in the state of WA, Ms. Kagi, then kindly point out to us the actual events which have occurred which show that they are actually unsafe. I would propose that the dearth of firearms accidents point to an analysis where these guns are actually “safe.”
Robber at the door, will you please wait while I unlock my gun?
How is a weapon which has not hurt anyone “unsafe?” Isn’t the bathtub unsafe then? Isn’t the car unsafe, and the knives unsafe? The stairs? The pool? Everything is “unsafe.” In that light, this becomes prejudice against our right to keep and bear arms, and not about “safety.”
So who’s going to go around randomly checking gun owner’s homes to see if they’re complying?
About 1 million households in Washington state contain unsafe firearms,
= = =
How many Cop Shops contain unsafe firearms?
Ruth Kagi and Jim Moeller.
Good people of Washington State, remember the names of these aholes the day the SHTF.
We think alike.
Build it. Funding will come!
1.I don’t have children, so there is no one to “protect” from in my home
2. Who is going to inspect my home? They cannot, so unenforceable
3. I have locks on my doors, so the gun is already locked up
