It has to do with pulling the GOPe knife out of my back every two years. I've had it up to my neck in Washington political sewage and want a grenade thrower to change the imminent rush over the cliff edge that is surely coming.

He has the support (if not formal endorsement) of every worst Vichy Republican there is: Bob Dole, Trent Lott, Mitch McConnell, Orin Hatch, Bob Barr.
He has now “fleshed out” his opposition to illegal immigration enough that we know what he supports is a “touchback amnesty,” which is great if your only immigration concern is tracking terrorists, but sucks if your concerns include rewarding lawlessness, cultural Balkanization, Democrats winning through demographic manipulation, the destruction of the middle class...
He supports abortion rights, health-care nationalization with mandates, tax hikes, massive increases in social spending...
