I am disgusted with the hysterical bashing of Palin, Coulter, Trump, and Cruz. Where is the bashing of Hillary? Bloomberg? Merkel? While there is some, it is overshadowed by bashing of conservatives or at least those right of center.

What did Palin do wrong? She endorsed a candidate who wasn't the first choice of some Cruz supporters who actually might only pretend to be his supporters.

Beltway GOP want to divide the supporters of non-insiders.

Hi Jane,

The GOPe have practiced and honed their skills for decades. I feel like I am just this election cycle waking up to their shenanigans.

I will be so happy when this primary is finished and we can come back together as good and kind conservatives who need to stick together.

I think the fallout from the debate had more to do with the numbers than Sarah did.

No problem with the thread being pulled. Be accused of repeatedly posting links to it was not accurate. That is what I addressed.

The biggest question however, is how in the world is former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush still in the top five in any poll nationwide?

That is an important question.

The way Trump is going after him, even now with Barbara Bush, tells us he sees or knows something we don't.

My guess is that the GOPe has decided against Rubio and Kasich and will unite around Bush.

This thing is NOT over by a longshot. They may yet try to steal it at the end, even detonate their suicide belt and blow up the (R)epublicrat party to stop Trump.

Unfortunately for the GOPe, who are not watching the rallies and noticing the grass roots and crossovers, Trump is now too big to fail. They will never get those votes if they somehow stop him. The smart move for the GOPe would be to surrender, regroup and crawl forward later. But they are not smart people.

Agree. Trump does know something. I noticed that Bush has edged back up in the polls. Something is not right.

Why didn’t she just go to the judge and say she could not afford representation?

You’ll have to ask her I suppose. All I know about it is what I read here on FR.

Sarah Palin didn't finish her term, why not? After cleaning up the Republican party in Alaska, she was elected governor in a landslide.

She immediately began to have to respond to ethics complaints, 25 in all. Most were filed by one Democrat woman in Anchorage. In Alaska, it costs virtually nothing to file ethics complaints against public officials. However, the official must pay for their own defense. It costs them about $25,000.00 for each complaint.

Before becoming Governor, Mrs Palin was a middle class citizen. The Palins had a nice home and her husband, Todd, had a job on the North Slope.

Multiply 25 X $25,000.00 and see what you get. ($625,000.00) In addition, Sarah was having to spend much of her time fighting these frivolous complaints, and felt she was letting the State down. This was leading this middle-class family rapidly into bankruptcy as well as, she felt, cheating the people who had elected her.

She had been offered a large sum of money for a book, which she was not allowed to accept while in office. She did what seemed to her to be the best answer, both for her constituents and her family. She resigned and wrote the book. She also prevailed in the frivolous ethics complaints.

Since then, and her unfortunate connection wit Sen John McCain, she has been living rent free in Democrat's heads.
