Backstage at Iowa State University - tossing in a few more zingers to get the media all spun up before my surprise endorsement of Donald Trump for President.
Todd visiting with one of the many Iowa vets there to show support for Donald Trump. We owe our freedom to them!
Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin met us when we landed in Tulsa. It was great to catch up with her - but she was missed at the rally!
Tulsa is Trump Country. A "Yuuge" Crowd ready to Make America Great Again!
Mr. Trump, Todd and I giving three thumbs up to a great trip and a bold year ahead for America! Glad to be on the "Trump Train".

Sarah, I love you: for real, get a voice coach. <3
I didn’t like the “spikey” jacket either - couldn’t tell if it was spikey or “bangles”, which IMHO would be more for evening wear. I thought she looked better in Tulsa(and thought her speech and delivery of same was better there, too - maybe because she had time to adjust her first speech). All that said, I still think she and Todd are great!
BTW - I heard on Fox yesterday that the spikey jacket cost $600 and was sold out. It looks like she’s still a trendsetter - IIRC the same thing happened with her glasses in 2008
*shaking head*
I always thought her glasses were cute, though.
“Why would she wear those boots when she can rock stilettos like a boss?”....
It’s winter time in Iowa and there IS snow on the ground.
Great pics, monk!
As I posted earlier, stilettos are seasonless ;) I have a feeling she didn’t have to deal with snow.
Fallin would be a perfect VP pick!
BTTT
Why would she wear those boots when she can rock stilettos like a boss?
I’m surprised you haven’t been virtually flayed here for saying it, but I completely agree. She does need some help with her voice.
I wasn’t alone the day after her first Trump speech. I didn’t watch but heard it on the radio. In 2008, people complained about her shrill, folksy-accented voice, and it never bothered me. I heard her speak twice, once quietly indoors and once, fired up outdoors, and it never bothered me.
This time, as they played her speech, her voice was so wavery, so breaking like a pubescent boy, that it shocked me. That can be from a loss of estrogen, which she might want to look into (bioidentical). Then her volume: when she puts emphasis into it, she really loses control. It’s a high pitched, harsh sound. That, a vocal coach could really help her with. Her content is awesome; I mean my comments in a constructive way. Maybe she can’t hear it. Her voice now could hurt dogs’ ears, and it keeps people from what she is saying.
I totally agree with your comments. My wife, who is a speech pathologist, commented on how painful she sounded compared to 2008. Having said that, I suspect Palin will be cast aside shortly after the last consequential primary. She brings Trump no plus votes in November I’d reckon.
My mom was a speech pathologist too. Palin’s voice is definitely getting worse. She should be humble about it and get a little help.
Ping.
