I wonder how much these NROers gave to the Clinton Foundation? Whoops.
This is just a reminder as to why Ann Coulter referred to the editors of NR as girly-men.
what about the other writers, were they ‘fan boys’? Nice cherry pick. Apparently Trump was a fan boy of Hillary and Mitch McConnell.
Thanks for pointing this out.
So was Trump.
Trump was also one of those 2009 Obama fan-boys...
I doubt if any intelligent observer considering that list would draw the conclusion that anyone on it was a conservative. Claiming to speak for conservatives and actually holding conservative principles are two different things.
And then there's that cover. Mind you, I know that my man Yeb! is the inevitable choice but it's a tough sell at the moment given that he's only drawing 40%...oh, wait, decimal place error, 4%...of the popular vote. The little people know nothing, as anyone on that list above will tell you. With a GOPe consisting of such luminaries it's a wonder we still bother to have elections in this country.
They should stop bitching, IMHO. Whoever is elected, they'll be able to slide into a comfortable seat of sideline criticism without accountability. Nice salaries, lots of air time - great gig if you can get it. Most of the rest of the media have already realized this.
Posting *sundance is never a bad move. Thanks so much!
The NRO authors do not convince me to leave Trump; if anything they make me more likely to consider him. OTOH, Palin’s endorsement was not enough to get me to abandon Cruz, and REC is still my top choice.
Hannity pointing out now, NRO was against Reagan (”he’s an actor”) too.
Obama is willing to say that Republicans are wrong, not evil — a very basic concession that nonetheless takes some bravery in the blog-besotted fever swamp that is much of the left right now.

Lowry wrote this in 2006. I expect a bunch of these GOP commentators were putting forward a Democrat they expected to be a pushover for whomever won the GOP nomination in 2008. Unfortunately, they were wrong about Obama being a pushover.
Richard Lowry: Generic meaningless statement
Charles Krauthammer: Idiotic statement.
Bill Kristol:Generic meaningless statement
Larry Kudlow: Alternate reality writer.
I guess 50-50.
Voting Trump because he can.
Oh yes, we remember.
It’s the Uniparty, after all, that pundits annd the ruling class elite belong to, an R or D after the name means nothing.
“Fan-boys”
Trump April 2009: “Well, I really like him (Obama). I think that heâs working very hard. Heâs trying to rebuild our reputation throughout the world. I mean, we really have lost a lot of reputation in the world. The previous administration was a total disaster, a total catastrophe.
I think heâs sort of a guy that just has a wonderful personality, a good speaker, somebody that people trust⦠I think that heâs really doing a nice job in terms of representation of this country⦠I think heâs doing a really good job.”
More “Fan-boys”
Trump November 2009: “I think heâs [Obama] doing great. I think Hillaryâs a great appointment. I think that some of the others are just great appointments⦠I think heâs doing a great job.”
National Review is about as conservative as my cat.
These ‘pundits’ and just about everyone in a leadership position in the Republican party have done nothing but enable the ongoing tyranny of this administration and the rest of the marxists and socialists in the Democrat party. It’s long past time to be done with them.
Another “Fan-boy”:
Trump - 2008 “I think he [Obama] has a chance to go down as a great president.”
