The Clintons Follow The Business Model of Fernando &Imelda Marcos of the Philliipines

The Clintons and their foundation are just following the business model of many other famous political families like Ferdinand & Imelda Marcos who got rich by taking bribes from every business interest that wanted to do business in the Phillipines, such as GE building a nuclear power plant there. Same with the Shaw of Iran who required anyone who wanted to do business in Iran had to pay 15% to his Pavlavi Foundation. The Clintons are just following the business model used by many famous and corrupt dictators all around the world.

She’s not big on shoes... because they’d have to actually be big for the cankles.

Probably more interested in collecting ashtrays. Especially heavy ones with sharp protrusions. I’d imagine she can never have enough of them.

Been saying this for years.
A conjugal kleptocracy.
They aren’t the only ones of course, or even the first.
The Perons were there before them. It’s an Argentine specialty, with the Kirchner’s the new models.

I lived in the Phillipines for about 6 years and did business there. The Marcos corruption resulted in the term “crony capitalism” another form of corruption besides pay to play. The cronies got govt guaranteed loans, like our green companies, and disbursed the money lots of places besides the projects. They left the companies and country bankrupt. The big US and foreign banks knew what was happening and still made the loans.

My folks and I visited the PI back in about 1960.
Mom hated it.

Cab drivers would exchange gunfire nearly every day.
The place was nuts.

Every aspect of the Bill Clinton presidency must be examined for wrongdoing. Recent news reports say the notoriously greedy Clintons used their tax-exempt Clinton Foundation charity to setup a money-making private equity fund in the corrupt country of Columbia.

Why Columbia?

WIKI REFERENCE---In 2000, the Clinton administration committed $1.3 billion in foreign aid to the corrupt country of Columbia...... and up to five hundred military personnel to train local forces.

An additional three hundred civilian personnel were allowed to assist in the eradication of coca. This aid was an addition to $330 million of previously approved US aid to Colombia. $818 million was earmarked for 2000, with $256 million for 2001.

The Clinton-era appropriations for his Columbia Plan made Colombia the third largest recipient of foreign aid from the United States at the time.

--SNIP--

As of 2008, the U.S. has provided nearly $1.3 billion to Colombia through Clinton Plan Colombia nonmilitary aid programs:

<><> Alternative Development (2000-2008 cost: $500 million)

<><> Internally Displaced Persons (2000-2008 cost: $247 million)

<><> Demobilization and Reintegration (2000-2008 cost: $44 million)

<><> Democracy and Human Rights (2000-2008 cost: $158 million)

<><> Promote the Rule of Law (2000-2008 cost: $238 million)

if you lived in Marikina, you made shoes

if you made shoes, you gave several pairs to Imelda who was a beauty queen and Jackie O example. then you could claim your shoes were in the Malacañang Palace and that you were one of the best shoe makers in the country

I heard a story from the Admiral of the Pacific Fleet about 6 months ago on Caravan to Midnight.

He said that the Russians learned about Monica Lewinsky before the media here started reporting on it. They asked for a few billion dollar loan. The Sec Of Treasury at the time canceled it because he said it looked fraudulent and he thought the money would disappear. Clinton overrode the objection and sure enough, the money disappeared.

How much blackmail-able stuff was on those servers of Hillary’s that the Russians and others are preparing to blackmail the US over???

It was Westinghouse that was sued by the Philippine government after Marcos was out of office.

N.i.c.e catch.......another offshore deposit for the Clintons.

The costs of getting into office is considered an investment by these con artist pols....with unlimited payback that can indirectly offset those "un-recoupable" costs. People of modest means holding elected office get very rich, far beyond what their government salaries would allow.

HOW/D THEY DO THAT? When he went to jail, investigators found Ponzi King Bernie Madoff had stashed billions offshore---into a labyrinth of financial entities. Some $8.9 billion was funneled to Madoff through a dozen so-called feeder funds based in Europe, the Caribbean and Central America.

The labyrinth of hedge funds, management companies and service providers, to unsuspecting outsiders, seemed to compose a formidable system of checks and balances. But the purpose of this complex financial architecture was just the opposite: the feeder funds provided different modes for directing money to Madoff in order to get rich and avoid scrutiny.
