Donald Trump Scores Big At Vegas Rally: ‘It’s a Phenomenon’
Breitbart ^ | 21 Jan 16 | PATRICK HOWLEY21

Posted on 01/22/2016 6:22:36 AM PST by xzins

Donald Trump delivered the most optimistic speech of his campaign so far Thursday afternoon to a friendly audience in the city of Las Vegas.

Trump received massive ovations throughout the rally, which was held indoors in a packed room at the South Point Hotel on the Vegas Strip.

"It's a phenomenon," Trump said. "No matter where we go, it's this. It's people like this. We love our country," Trump said. "It's very sad what's happening and we're going to turn it around."

Trump devoted an adequate amount of time to Senator Sen. Ted Cruz

"When he talks, he talks like he's debating," Trump said of Cruz. "But he can't just talk. You have to be able to talk sometimes, too, folks."

"It came out ten minutes ago," Trump said of the latest poll in Iowa. "Trump 33, Cruz 23." Trump was referring to the CNN poll. He was off by a couple points. He's actually four points higher. It's Trump 37. Cruz 26.

"Cruz has had a hard time. He looks like a nervous wreck. He had his moment but he blew it," Trump said, noting that Sarah Palin helped Cruz to win his Texas Senate election in 2012. "If it wasn't for Sarah Palin, he wouldn't be a senator even. He was at two percent and then Sarah got involved and then he became a senator."

"No more Common Core. These clowns like Jeb Bush, they want Common Core. Educate your children based on the bureaucrats in Washington, who are looking out for their own profits?"

"We spend more money per pupil than any country in the world. And we're number 28 in education. Third World countries are ahead of us in education. No more Common Core. We are going to educate our children."

Looks like Trump will win Nevada, too.

If Trump wins in Iowa he’ll run the table.

Who? Trump?

Trump is pro-life. His conversion to conservatism began in 2011. I think his thinking on life changed prior to that.

Don’t forget taking of granny’s land via the government so he can build a casino... Even defending the practice just this morning...

That’s what we need right now: someone with little moral character...

That’s what I’m thinking, but there are plenty of states that we’re not seeing numbers on.

The national numbers say he’s leading every place.

Hey, right as he was thinking of running for office! What a coincidence!

Um...Trump has been pro-life for over a decade. The interview to which you are referring was in *1999*. Even Reagan wad pro-abortion at one time before coming around on it.

If Trump wins in Iowa he’ll run the table.

About that.

Trump endorses ethanol, sells out every driver in the US for the sake of big corn/ethanol votes (a government required product which receives taxpayer subsidies), saying he would have the EPA require even more.

Which means he isn't getting rid of the EPA, either.

The writing is on the wall.

I think 9/11 really shocked him and got him thinking.

Trump is rolling to be sure. He could win each and every primary. Even without bashing Cruz.

Donald Trump told Mark Halperin yesterday that his sister, a federal judge, would be a “phenomenal” Supreme Court justice. He also said that “we will have to rule that out now, at least.” If he ever becomes president, let’s hope he rules it out permanently. Maryanne Trump Barry came up in the book The Party of Death for writing one of those heated judicial decisions in favor of giving constitutional protection to partial-birth abortion. She called a New Jersey law against it a “desperate attempt” to undermine Roe v. Wade. It was, she wrote, “based on semantic machinations, irrational line-drawing, and an obvious attempt to inflame public opinion instead of logic or medical evidence.” It made no difference where the fetus was when it “expired.” So: The right of abortionists to make a child “expire” by partially extracting her from the womb, sticking scissors in the back of her head, vacuuming out her brain, and crushing her skull to complete her extraction, is right there in the Constitution. But let’s please not have any “semantic machinations.”

Will he protect our economic borders as well as Kim Jung-UN (sp?) from North Korea.
