My Herter’s U9 agrees.
I remember as a kid, pouring through the Herters catalog.
Everything he had was the very best and sometimes he was even telling the truth.
A few years ago, I saw a Herters .401 powermag at a gun show. It was a large revolver and really well made. In fact I later learned they were made by JP Sauer and Son. The same revolver was also available in .44 and .41 mag.
The price for the .401 was unusually low but you would have had to buy a set of dies and brass from Herters at the same time as loaded ammo was not available anywhere else.
