You do know Bob Dole just endorsed Trump, right? I think it safe to say Sen Dole is senior member of the Establishment you say fears Trump.
Actually Dole supports Jeb. He simply said that if it were down to Cruz or Trump, he would go with the Trump as long as Trump did his best to destroy the conservatives.
That is simply not true.
Dole has endorsed Jeb Bush, and he stood by that endorsement today.
What he did say was that given a choice of only Trump or Cruz, he'd pick Trump because Cruz would be catastrophic for the party.
