You haven’t heard me say we need to expand the base with liberals.

I’d like to try running a conservative that believes in the constitution for a change and see what actually happens. Instead we always get the guy who “can win” instead. Then either they don’t win or when they do then we lose because they don’t share our principles and we get more of the same leftest crap.

We had a opportunity to run a conservative that believes in liberty - which is rare in itself - to show the country what one can do. After 8 years of Obama and Democrat candidates being a disaster we had an excellent chance that may not come again. And in my view we’re throwing that opportunity away. And that’s a real shame.

And I'm saying that the really important "conservative" values like protecting American sovereignty, both in terms of illegal and Muslim immigration, and protecting American culture, in the form of lifting up Christianity, will be better achieved by Trump than by Cruz.

So, no, I'm not going to lose with Cruz and pat myself on the back. Feel free to do that.
