I expect a response similar to Trent Lott's comments when they handed him Billy-Bob's Impeachment Papers. Something to the effect of come on, you really want us to deal with this?
I will never forget Clinton’s SOTU speech during impeachment where he stood up there and speechified - promising the moon and the stars. It was a fricken speech - nothing more. And afterwards Lott said basically that’s it, it’s all over now.

Trump is already trivializing this by stating that this isn’t even as bad as Ted Cruz having to amend an FEC form.
By declaring that what Cruz did is worse than Hillary, Trump is helping out his pals the Clintons.
