How about all the people - from both sides - who have said if Trump hadn't brought the subject ahead no one would have even talked about it. If Cruz, as he wants people to think he is against amnesty, then why hasn't he been a leader and stepped up, and made a strong, effective case to the American people.

Republicans promised in 2014 that if they were given the majority in the senate, they would seal the border. They lied.
Trump in 2015/16 promises to seal the border, deport immigrants. He is not yet proven to be a liar. He has not lied in a campaign promise yet, while the Repubs in 2014 and before lied every election and fulfilled NONE of their promises (repeal Obamacare, yadayada)
Anyone who believes Cruz/US Chamber of Commerce/Donors/GOPe will seal the border is like the abused wife that believes the abusive husband won't beat her again.
