President Trump’s Cabinet - LifeZette choices
LifeZette ^ | 1/2016 | LifeZette staff

Posted on 01/21/2016 7:34:06 AM PST by ironman

Donald Trump is the favorite to win the Republican nomination. And with the growing legal troubles of Hillary Clinton and the leftist extremism of Bernie Sanders, he may well be the favorite for the presidency, too. And so, it's not too early to start considering whom he might choose for his Cabinet.

VP - Ted Cruz
Sec of State - Rob Portman
Sec of Treasury - Larry Kudlow
Sec of Defense - General James "Mad Dog" Mattis

See link for 22 selections and discussion.

You can scratch Cruz. I have posted 100s of times that Cruz would never work for an unprincipled, low info dude like donnie.

I wouldn’t count too heavily on Trump being president.

Some good choices there, I’d love to see Christie as AG for instance. But some awful ones.

Only on fantasyland would Donald Trump ever pick an inexperienced junior senator with no executive experience as VP.

Trump nor Cruz are VP Material.

But how sweet would it be Cruz became President of the Senate. ...Mich McConnell's boss.

I think I'd rather see Cruz as Attorney General.

...that his if Trump can seal the deal.

I'm still voting Cruz in my Primary, nothing as changed my mind on that.

LOL! I'm sure Ted's giving you the final word on the path of his future. Do you also get to pick out his ties in the morning?

The only change is Newt would be Secretary of State. And the Service Secretaries would be pro military and undo the massive damage being done to the Army, Navy, MC, AF and CG right now.

I'm hoping that Trump will introduce a cabinet that looks like America.

Nooooo!!!!

He is the most 2A-unfriendly governor to have an “R” after his name! He’s been pathetic in NJ! The only benefit he’s been is slowing the tide and eventual destruction of the state by the hard-core leftists in the legislature.

That may be, but politics creates strange bedfellows sometimes, as they say! Trump and Cruz could look at this as an ‘Apprentice’ position. If it does not work out...he’s fired and onto SCOTUS!

Trump wants to win and if it takes a merger to shore up a wavering or disappointed base, he’d pull the trigger in a NY minute! Remember, JFK reached out to LBJ in 1960 with the goal of shoring up support in the South despite the protestations of RFK...strange things and surprises happen in politics....e.g. Palin endorsing Trump the other day!

Cruz would be a waste as VP. He would make a great Attorney General.
Duncan Hunter would make a good VP. Trump from the East, Hunter from the West.

Cruz would never accept a VP position from Trump. Not after the incredibly nasty smears and innuendo that Trump has been spreading about Cruz and his family.

Trump is an establishment republican guy. He has already floated the left wing Scott of N.H. as his possible VP choice.

You can bet it want be a conservative, he himself is a left winger that believes gay rights and abortion.

Have you thought that Trump has a crammed-full rolodex of non-politician acquaintances that he could fill his cabinet with...individuals who knew how to get things done?
