Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump is going after Glenn Beck for throwing his support behind GOP primary rival Ted Cruz, calling the conservative activist a "wacko" and a "lost soul."
Trump also said his endorsement from former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin trumps Cruz's endorsement from Beck.
"Wacko [Glenn Beck] is a sad answer to the [Sarah Palin] endorsement that Cruz so desperately wanted," Trump said in a tweet on Thursday. "Glenn is a failing, crying, lost soul!"
Beck announced on Tuesday that he would campaign with Cruz on Saturday in Iowa.
A longtime opponent of Trump, the Tea Party icon said he was disappointed in Palin's decision to endorse the billionaire businessman.
"I couldn't disagree with her more but she has played the game now for years," Beck wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday. "Perhaps she knows more than those of us still on the outside."

I am reminded of the parable of the bramble bush from Judges. The bramble bush that promised the people that they could rest in its shade if they made it King. Just like there is no shade to a bramble bush so too there is no substance, in my opinion, to Donald Trump. There is not a lack of promises and claims to tickle the year though.
The days of playing nice to prove how superior we are are over. That didn’t work out too well for us. I believe that Trump will be a dignified president. But right now he’s got to be down in the gutter sometimes because like it or not thats where this fight is taking place on many fronts. And look there are many many people that understand that this is how it is right now. He’s doing what he’s gotta do.
You act ‘nice’ and be respectful to people because its the right thing to do. Especially to those who are your friends and allies.
Unless you are an immature jerk.
Why do you Trump supports excuse everything this man does? We’re in the primaries. now is the time to evaluate candidates.

In any rally I have ever heard Trump speak (and I have probably heard almost all of them) he doesn’t wrap himself in any dishonest way in the Bible, or Jesus, or yes, the forgiveness thing. Most can plainly see that he is probably not born again (but we always carry the hope). Trump openly speaks pretty much as a secular business man who honors his mother’s faith, the Bible she gave him, and loves America. His faith may not be all that strong, but I don’t see it as “mixed”. If he were to preach Jesus every other word (which Beck does) and then bow to some “other”... this is what the Bible warns us against and it is not a good thing for our soul.
We need someone whose not afraid to fight. What are you looking for another Romney? We can worry about dinner party stuff later.
I will never forget his behavior at the last Tea Party rally and how he dissed the organizers. Really showed his @ss.

Is Cruz afraid to fight? I thought you Trumpers problem with Cruz is that he was too agressive in the Senate.
Back in September, Glenn Beck said that the TEA Party was made up of a bunch of racists. In 2011 he also said that the TEA Party was racists for supporting Newt Gingrich.
I think that Ted Cruz accepting the endorsement of this loon is a mistake.
The latest attacks on Cruz, calling him nasty. No one likes him, he's just a nasty guy. Wow!
Well, Donald, are you referring to McConnell, Reid, Ryan, Pelosi, Boehner? Are these the folks that do not like Cruz?
If these are the people you're talking about, then you're part of the problem...not the solution. We need conservatism. We need to force down the throats of the liberals / RINO’s constitutional conservatism. This country needs to turn right
Then, why is he attacking Glenn Beck for supporting him? If he didn’t care, as you state, why even bring up who supports Cruz at all?

I never thought Cruz was too aggressive in the senate. I don’t speak for all “Trumpsters” but I believe that many of us feel he could’ve been more aggressive or at least he could be used some help from other senators. I’d also guess that most of us do like Ted Cruz a lot. But just think he needs more time to gain the confidence to play this game the way it needs to be played (I know it’s not a game. Lack of a better term). So no we don’t hate him. We like him. He needs a little more time to mature “politically”. I think he’s running a great campaign and I for one would be all in if Trump hadn’t come along and shown such strong leadership.
What I don’t get is why you Cruzers are so upset that we don’t agree with you and why you guys seem to hate Trump so much. But that’s how it goes. Some people like one guy and others think he’s horrible....

I stopped following Glenn awhile ago, also sadly, as I used to be a fan, but he turned me off with hystrionics. I feel bad for the guy, but I'm not going to part with my money because of it -- he has enough to seek proper care for whatever is breaking him down.
Albion I saw it on I think it was the discover channel. Maybe History channel about Gold. The company that Beck ran ads for constantly (Calif company) was cited for getting callers interested in gold then selling them OVERPRICED coins etc. No one went to jail but they did pay some fines and promised to change their ways. Sorry this is from memory.
