The term ‘populist’ is a vague and perjorative term for a majority felt opinion.
It also means it blows with the wind.
And the wind will blow. Particularly in DC.

I’ve been thinking about this, and have come to the conclusion that what Trump in fact is a popularist. In other words, his political success to date is based on nothing more than that he is a popular television celebrity.
