Cruz....no different than the others he got schlonged by Trump.

Ted's supposedly an extraordinarily bright guy. From what I've read and seen of him, I have to agree

- But -

After watching Kung Fu Master Don kill off one challenger after another in this race, with his lightning sting of death - what on earth possessed Ted to take a swing at him?

I suppose the fact that time is running out, and Ted was only leading in Iowa, made him take the chance. Unfortunately for Ted, he's now waking up on the floor, wondering how the hell he got there, and what the heck happened to his campaign.

Same as all who came before him.

Your points are correct. A lot of folks here would vote for either Cruz or Trump but the “follower” mentality doesnt do anyone any good. Cruz is out as a contender.
Hopefully Trump and Cruz stop the attacks.

It is a self fulfilling prophecy...

Too many never seem to have the courage to see it though. Something shiny comes along that can “win” and off they go.

This time is different though. Not only did they jump ship, the crucified one of the few people that has been standing up to the GOPe and Obama and turned him into a “bought wall street criminal” that is “conservative in name only” “nasty man”.

If this is the new definition of conservative, I’m a conservative no more.

Republicans keep putting for "moderate" RINOs like Dole, McCain, Romney, and then go down in flaming defeat because disgusted conservatives sit out the election.

Now they are set to do it all over again. Trump is another big-government "moderate" who will drive disenfranchised conservatives out once again. The stupidity of these repeat performances in breathtaking.

Sounds like you are not paying attention at all. This campaign is the same as the others? Lack of enthusiasm?

Okay then, you should have no problem proving that by finding photos of Dole or McCain or Romney rallies before any primary votes those years ( 1995, 2007, 2011 ) that match up to the nearly countless current photos of Trump rallies. Right?

Something is way different today, and you clearly missed it completely. If it is comparable to anything it is the 2009-2010 TEA Party insurrection.

Trump is crushing everyone, everywhere, except in Iowa where it is still close. But, I believe a new round of polling in Iowa, to determine the effect of Palin’s endorsement, will show Trump regaining the lead, and that he will win Iowa. No one is even close anywhere else. Even in Minnesota, he’s got a big lead now.

Eh, the auto-closing of HTML tags was a huge improvement

Those days cracked me up. I would LMAO reading posts that were made after someone forgot to close the tag!

Bumping thread at 14:10 2006-01-21.

Rush 2nd hour.

He has finally after 7 full months realized that the Trump coalition contains a lot of TEA Partiers.

Still has a long way to go understand the fact that GOPe is the enemy within, and he may never understand that Americans are Country-First, not Party-First, and definitely not (R)epublicrat first.
