Obvious, the current one. Even Reagan didn’t get it right the first time.

Actually, Reagan DID get it right the first time but Jane Wyman had not yet become the conservative that she would be by 1980. Nancy always wanted capitulation to the soviets yesterday, seemed embarrassed by Ronaldus Maximus's social conservatism, etc.

Knowing that the Reagan/Wyman divorce in about 1948 had been a bloodbath for its era, the usual lamestream media suspects went to Wyman in 1980 looking for dirt and asked her how she felt about her ex running for POTUS. To their dismay, she told them that Ronnie was a very fine man and that the US would be very fortunate indeed if he were to become POTUS. No one ever interviewed her for lamestream media again on matters political.

Given #54 by justlittleoleme, wouldn’t it at least give you pause that Trump might most agree with her if her background is any indication of her beliefs? I do grant that she has modestly rebuffed press inquiries as to her politics by telling interviewers to talk to her husband about his views since it is he who is running, but still.....
