Classified documents are not marked "classified". Mrs. Clinton (one most strongly suspects) and her legal attendants know this quite well.

They are marked with the classification (for example, secret or top secret.)

She says that she never sent or received e-mails marked “classified”. This is circumlocution equivalent to what the definition of “is” “is”! I was the holder of a security clearance required for U.S.Naval Nuclear engineering for 35 years. I never once saw a document marked “CLASSIFIED”. The actual marking on the documents, based on level of sensitivity, were typically: “CONFIDENTIAL”, “NOFORN”, “RESTRICTED DATA”, “SECRET”, “TOP SECRET”, etc. Referring to a document as “classified” is merely a generic catchall description.This is another slippery Clinton trick to parse the words and evade honestly responding to the intent of the question. Would someone please ask her if she ever sent or received (on her personal computer) any document marked “SECRET”.
