Palin can make it happen, says ex-political director in Hawkeye State
The former political director of the Iowa Republican Party predicted Wednesday that Donald Trump will win the Iowa state caucuses on Feb. 1, a result that likely would be played as an upset given Texas Sen. Ted Cruz's recent polling strength.

Let’s hope Trump wins it . With Cruz we will lose
Love that!
Trump-Palin wins in Iowa and beyond.....Have a New year to Trump all others.
I think everyone knows Iowa is must win for Cruz. Not to keep repeating the same point, but if Trump wins there and also in New Hampshire and South Carolina then we all know it’s the ballgame and see you in Cleveland in July for the RNC.
Wasn’t that what people said about Romney?
If Trump wins Iowa, he should win every state after that.
If he loses Iowa he will probably also lose some other states, though probably still win the nomination.
Iowa is very important to Trump. It is a path to early, total victory.
Trump shall win N.H., S.C., and Nevada. With that BIG MO, he's on his way to the nomination.
People said WHAT about Romney?
Doesn’t matter .. even if Cruz wins Iowa, he’s not going to win anywhere else .. it’s over in New Hampshire for Cruz. The people want someone who can win the general election and the only one that can do that is Trump . With Cruz we lose
Iowa is a proportional state....Trump really doesn’t “NEED” to win it, but it would be nice. Win or lose Iowa, Trump is still going to win N.H., S.C., and Nevada...all of which still gives him a BIG MO.
Thank you . It’s fitting of the situation and reality
If Cruz loses Iowa his disciples in here will be even worse.
But if Cruz wins Iowa they will be insufferable.
Last election 2012, it reached a point on FR where people where pushing Romney, using the reasoning is that we should vote for him because he was our only chance to win.
True; sadly.
OTOH, there are some here, now pushing for someone who can't win either and that person isn't Trump. ;^)
‘GOOD, Trump doesn’t HAVE TO win Iowa, but it would be very nice for him to start with a win. ‘
Conversely, Mr. Cruz needs to win Iowa and win big. He has spent time and investors money and has been considered the strong favorite.
TWB
In order to even now be eligible to be nominated by the GOP, for president, the new rules states that a candidate MUST completely win 8 states. Trump CAN and SHALL meet that requirement. Ted? That's very "IFFY", as things stand now!
Tomorrow Iowa polls are coming
Any news - PredictIt contracts are upside down
Donald Trump 52c
Ted Cruz 47c
