Levin has gone Beck.

Who would have thought Levin would end up being a check-pantz repubikan. /s

Career and radio suicide. Just because the Cruzholes are loud doesn't mean they're rational.

Who is Trump's back up should you successfully torpedo his campaign?

Facts on the ground:
Cruz and Rubio are not eligible for the job.

Go!

Yeah, on this issue Cruz is no different than Trump

While Cruz certainly has good intentions, without a larger coalition working with him in Congress, I'd expect the GOPe and the Democrats would hamper Cruz and could possibly override a presidential veto.

Ryan would have to go as would McConnell.

“The public doesn’t have to buy the crap gas if they don’t want to.”

Good point. The powers that be have mandated it’s production and availability, but I still am not required to purchase it.

What do you think of a person who puts his principles aside in order to gain something? Will you be able to trust such a person when the next principle is challenged?

Cruz wants to phase it out over five years, kick it down the road and forget about it

Let me explain it to you so simply that even a Cruz hater could understand, if he really tried. Year one 20% reduction, year two 40% reduction, year three 60% reduction, year four 80% deduction and finally in year five 100% deduction. You seem to imply year 1-4:o% year 5:100% that is not a phase out.

Ethanol is the least of out problems. I don’t think it even ranks in the top 10 things Ameriucans are worried about.

Perhap Mark should put his mind to things people do know they need to worry about.

Ted operates like that. Sneaky all the time. He is the consummate fence straddler.

Five years from now we may not have a country and we are supposed to worry about ethanol? LOL

Nothing to explain. You’re either for a free market, or you’re not. Trump clearly is not.

I think it should be an optional additive to when we buy gas. If I don’t want it in my gas, I shouldn’t need it...

“I don’t see how it’s mandated if some stations sell it... The public doesn’t have to buy the crap gas if they don’t want to.”

Except for the taxpayers have guns to their heads by the gubmint so that it enriches a few farmers in Iowa.

Anytime there is a gubmint involved in mandating (eg. ethanol content), every single taxpayer is risking jail time if they do not pony up. How is that freedom? Only in Trump’s definition of freedom —

Trump is a CRONY “capitalist” OLIGARCH used to buying politicians and bullying property owners using his pals in the gubmint.

Trump is more dangerous than obola because Trump pretends to be for the people while riding the populist/opportunist wave. Morons do not make America “great”. America is already great, DESPITE trumpanzees!

Levin I ain’t listening to you bash Trump, from an ex loyal listener.

Trump is pandering, So is Cruz making sure all energy comes from oil.

Cruz didn’t report a million in loans, that is against the Law. Who is to say President Cruz won’t violate the law like Obama does?

Cruz favors ending the subsidy in 5 years. Note that it would be a full year after a first term ended so technically, Cruz wouldn’t be ending the subsidy either.
It also gives the Congress and lobbyists 5 years in which to reinstate the subsidy as a rider in whatever bill Cruz wants passed. There’s no guarantee the subsidy would be going anywhere. Just politics as usual.
*******************************************************************

More misdirection and lies by omission. Cruz wants the mandates PHASED OUT OVER 5 YEARS. For you TRUMP (BLESS HIS SOUL) supporters in Rio Linda, that means that the mandate starts at 100% of current level, after one year it drops to 80%, after two years to 60%, after three years to 40%, after four years to 20% and after five years it drops to ZERO Percent and ends. Free enterprise and personal choice rule instead of government mandates. The reason for PHASING it out is to give involved folks time to adjust their business models and mechanical equipment.

TRUMP (PEACE BE UPON HIM) instead wants to CONTINUE THE DEMOCRATS’ GOVERNMENT MANDATES AND DECREES IN PERPETUITY and have it enforced by HIS government bureaucrats.
