The 25 people arrested after Monday’s blockade of the Bay Bridge’s westbound lanes were out of custody Tuesday, and San Francisco prosecutors said it could be several weeks before they decide on whether to file charges.

I lived out there for 20 years. I remember when a couple guys from a radio station stopped on the bridge to get a haircut, mocking Bill Clinton for holding up air traffic when he got a haircut in Air Force One. These guys were charged and had to pay some large fine. But, there were many liberal cause protest that blocked traffic on the bridge (Woody Harrelson was involved in one of these) and they were always arrested then released with no charges. Selective prosecution depending on your political standing.

If the city is so bored that they don’t feel like doing anything, they should just tell the cops not to respond and let the commuters handle it through street-justice.
