Cruz would be a lot better if he would learn to communicate as graciously as Reagan. So would Trump.
And I believe Trump was referring to the coalition movement that is building with the people - not himself.

Thank God he's seen the light.
Before Trump stated it, no one was in favor of slapping a moratorium on the Muslim invasion of America. In fact everyone in the uni-party were shocked and flat out rejected the idea. Now that they see it hit a strong chord with the people, some of the smarter politicians are starting to come along.
Same goes for building the wall and enforcing the law. Even deporting them all and ending anchor babies. Shocking statements until they learned it's what the people want.
Along with cutting taxes, cutting spending, cutting regulations, cutting the government.
And rebuilding the military.

Just want you to know that I think your posts are fine. We have a very rough and rowdy crowd here and lots of people are getting pretty ugly about defending their guy, whoever their guy happens to be. Happens every presidential cycle. Personally, I want to see Cruz or Trump win the presidency. I tend to favor Cruz, but I won't be upset if Trump gets it.

Cruz is a good man and I have high hopes for him. But he has a mighty high mountain to climb, too. Trump towers over them all and he has barely begun to fight. And has spent next to nothing compared to the others. And I wouldn't sell Trump short on broader appeal. Americans love a strong leader. And a winner.

PLEASE TAKE A CLUE FROM JIM! It's both possible and easy to support both TRUMP AND CRUZ or at least cut the venomous language against the two that's coming from both sides. And for certain, STOP the personal attacks!
The entire goal is to defeat the Establishment and on that front, we're off to a great start!
I've seen too many attacks by FReepers with unfamiliar screen names launched on members in good standing and I'm left pondering 'just where these attackers came from all of a sudden?' A word to the wise, better to support your candidate and support Free Republic, than to USE Free Republic to attack opposing candidates and our contributing members!!
