There are more than 150 FBI SAs working the case. The Bureau does not normally assign more than a dozen agents to even the biggest cases, such as serial bank robbers, kidnappings.
About half are accountants, not the lawyer or former local LEO or military types many SAs are. That tells us they are sifting through details, records, etc, they already have, not trying to get those records.
Right now the focus is on much more than the emails. The emails got them into the Foundation records, and now they are working to assemble a timeline that shows favorable rulings, programs, etc. were given by her State Department in response to Foundation donations or $ direct to her.
Pretty soon, if not already, others will be trying to cut deals in exchange for their testimony.
The fact that they have NOT questioned her yet is important. That says they already know the facts, don’t need her help to get them, and are waiting until all ducks are in line before they approach her.
Obama will NOT bail Hillary out of this. They hate each other and she would never continue to “Obama Legacy.”
If Hillary is indicted, or worse, named an un-indicted co-conspirator, Biden can be in the race in 72 hours. All the Hillary people would simply come to him.
Biden missing state primary filing deadlines is not important, because, regardless of state laws to the contrary, state delegates to the national Dem convention can vote for any presidential candidate they want, even on the first ballot, and no one ever does anything about it.
re: Un-indicted being worse than being indicted before an upcoming election? If she is indicted, she has a chance to demand a quick trial and perhaps be acquitted. If she is named but not indicted, she never has a chance to clear her name.
If Biden wants to get in, what is the drop dead date that he has to get in?
