How dare he say the EPA should follow the law!

EPA did follow the law. The law allows the EPA to waive the provision. Trump is saying that even though less gas was being produced, the gasoline producers should still be required to buy the higher amount of ethanol.

Is this the Hurricane Sandy emergency fuel waiver?

If so, I think we’d all agree it is an illegal abuse of authority.
(Even if it is a benefit.)

The ‘not following the law’ point is untrue.
Stupid of Trump to do this, he doesn’t need the thousand or so extra votes he’ll get.
And it’s bad policy.
