CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- After appearing in Myrtle Beach and Columbia, Presidential candidate Ben Carson returned to the Holy City Tuesday and announced he was suspending his run for the presidency.
Dr. Carson appeared at the Historic Rotary Club of Charleston's weekly luncheon and broke the news that some of his staffers were in a bad accident, saying one of them was in "grave condition."

Oh no. I hope they recover. Dr. Carson is a good man.

I think his candidacy and campaign is what is in grave condition. That being said prayers out to his campaign staff.

Yes , sad day for the campaign. I hope all recover quickly. I doubt if he will get back in. He was dropping after his book was reviewed by the voters.

Serious question: in this case, what is “the Holy City?”

This is sad. I like Carson. Thoughful man, well spoken, dry humor. Probably not a good choice for president, but he’s 10 times better than the usurper-in-chief that we have now.

Just read a news article on this.
Apparently, one staffer and three volunteers were driving in Iowa when the car slipped on ice and flipped over.
Prayers for all involved.
