KEENE, N.H. â Sen. Ted Cruzâs campaign for president has featured strong references to faith and Christianity, which he says will help restore the country to greatness.

Hmmm, a guy who has values and sticks to them even when unpopular. Thats a oddity these days.
Is he quoting “Two Corinthians” like The Donald?
“Two Corinthians walk into a bar, one of them holding a duck...”
Q:How many Corinthians does it take to screw in a lightbulb
A: Two Corinthians
My grandfather used the term 2 instead of second. He like Trump were second generation American from Germany. We found the marker where he had completed reading bible. Thru for 8 times.
I am insulted that you would insult my family and faith by your uneducated snipes
Cruz is going full Huckabee. I am to cynical to fall for this. I think about the quote from I believe British ex-Prime Minister Harold Harold Macmillan paraphrasing about if you want inspiration listen to a pastor not a politician.
And he’s a rock solid supporter of the two amendment.
It is a really low, snarky tactic employed by the left: making fun of how someone discusses the Bible. Definitely not Christian values.
Melanoma: “How do you like our new living room furniture?
The Donald: “I dunno, it’s Two Corinthians for my taste.”
The Donald: âI dunno, itâs Two Corinthians for my taste.â
"Is the furniture made out of Corinthian Leather?"
“If you want inspiration, listen to a Pastor, not a politician”...Amen !
55x45,
It is nice, isn’t it, to see someone stay with the same message, even in hostile territory. If people like Cruz before this, they will still like him after reading this article from the liberal’s Texas newspaper of record.
If people don’t like principled conservative Christians, this article won’t change their minds either.
Oldplayer
That’s it. Ricardo Montalban is going to endorse Trump today!!!
I have been going to church - Reformed, Evangelical, Anglican, and Roman Catholic - for 60+ years. Although “Two Corinthians” is not the most common appellation for that letter of St. Paul, I have heard it often over the years.
"Donald seems to be a little rattled. For whatever reason, he's very dismayed. As conservatives continue to unite behind our campaign, as his poll numbers continue to go down, he's a little testy," Cruz said during a stop in Washington, N.H. "I have no intention in responding in kind. If he wants to engage in insults, that's his prerogative."
On message and under control.
Hoping that Cruz knows what he is doing. He could very well wind up as the Rick Santorum of 2016.
Authenticity is so odd in modern times to the point where a man who sticks to his principles gets headlines.
Uninspiring pastors (most, frankly, who put their congregations to sleep in the pews), inspiring politicians (Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill, Ronald Reagan).
If you listen to the media that’s what you might hear but religion is only a small part of what he’s saying.
Yesterday I watched him speak about the history of colonial New Hampshire and the ministers who stood to create a new nation based on the Judaeo Christian ideals of self determination and Freedom.
He spoke about the NH pine tree rebellion of 1772 when the settlers rebelled against the king who determined that farmers weren’t allowed to cut trees or use lumber from their own farms and how similar it is to today’s regulatory regime.
For you and for all his supporters here, I hope so, too.
Observing the Evangelical world as an outsider, I think he's already over the edge, so to speak, and probably won't recover.
But he has time. We'll see.
