I believe we can reverse much of the damage. But not by electing trump and confirming the destruction of the Republic.

The reversal cannot be done if you elect anyone who is a loyal republican. They will always follow the direction of the party, which is simply to stay in charge. It has to be an outsider like Trump, running as a repub as a flag of convenience. That is why I am immune to fainting spells, anger, Trump as Hitler analogies, Star Wars fans dramatically intoning that THIS is how a republic dies, etc etc ad nauseum.
The GOP has finally exhausted its goodwill and trust. Nothing they say or no position they take matters. They have shown us for two decades that they are only saying it to win and have no desire to deliver. None. Not that they cant, they do not WANT to. Benefit of the doubt has been used up.
