They are too decent and civilized for that.
Plus, they learned their lesson in Biblical times (assuming we are no longer in Biblical times), when the KJV tells us "the host of Israel" went up into the land of the Midianites "with an high hand" and consorted in victory with the Midianite women ..... and brought a wicked disease home to their own wives.
