Because he filed public paperwork with them listed. Not because of some secret investigation uncovering them.
Did he fail to fill out all the paperwork required, yes.
So if he was trying to hide them he did pretty bad job by listing them in the first place.
But never mind. He's now Satan incarnate - burn baby.
And now we know how evil triumphs over good. And how good people get led astray in frenzies of "righteousness". Never mind the truth.
