Friends of the little guy don’t write articles for CNN’s Davos coverage touting open borders, global economies, and central planning.

For all this talk of who is “weaker” and “stronger” is meaningless. The fact is there is no substantive evidence to say who is “weaker” or “stronger.” What they say is evidence of nothing. All of them a re lying in one way or another. I think anyone who believes a candidate on immigration based on what they say is hopelessly naive.

I accept the fact that he is not a Conservative, but he is a real populist. Kudos to Perot and Buchanan.

“That’s significant, not because it’s an attack on Trump’s populism but because conservative talk radio (apart from Glenn Beck) has been conspicuously warm to Trump’s candidacy until now”

They were “warm” because Trump was getting rid of all of the GOPe candidates, while Cruz didn’t have to lift a finger, spend a dime, or get bruised.

But Cruz is off-limits because that’s “wrong”.

That’s some BS. Trump isnt in this to help laziness win, and talk radio needs to get that crystal clear.

If Cruz is worth a nomination, then he needs to go through the fire on his own, and talk radio needs to get the hell out of the way, because the fall nominees had better not be another Ned Flanders.

Hillary and the media isnt going to give to craps about his feelings when she hurts them 24/7.

This has gotten beyond ridiculous.

I knew they’d go after Trump because they can’t control him...but didn’t realize they’d have so much help.

If Ted Cruz was born in 1870 instead of 1970 he wouldn’t even be a citizen of the United States. It was a 1952 naturalization act of Congress that even made it possible for someone in his situation to be a citizen. How is that being a NBC?

No....the Donald is not a conservative. He leans conservative more than Dole, McCain and Willard Romney combined. He is a plain speaking unbought (unbuyable?) who has excited most of the Base and the Independents. I would love Cruz for president. But I can live with Trump

Donald says: Everyone hates Cruz in Washington!!

So Trump now endorses Cruz......can't get a better endorsement than that statement. True, it's True.

I don't think Cruz wants to "go there." Woops, I mean,

Ted Cruz, (R) Goldman Sachs

The Ultimate Insider and PERFECT globalist resume:

Cruz isn't going to open up a can of worms for the Washington Cartel that he and his wife are members of.

I’d be surprised if Team Mitt decided to take a side in the Trump/Cruz war... Apart from John McCain endorsing Trump, what better way could there be to get populists questioning Trump than by hinting that the Romney braintrust is increasingly warm to him?

I just don't know what to make of what this author thinks he is making of that obtuse notion

Personally I am comfortable if Mitt and Mccaniac are attacking Trump, who got where he is despite the negative sentiment of just about every professional pol out there.

Of course they were against him before they were for him, and are just trying to save their political skins, hoping that if they endorse him, maybe he will think he owes them something.

Fill in the blank:

+/- 17 years before becoming a prominent conservative and eventual Republican presidential candidate, ___________began his political career as a Democrat. He joined numerous political committees with a left-wing orientation, such as the American Veterans Committee. He fought against Republican-sponsored right-to-work legislation. He planned to lead an anti-nuke demonstration and only his employer's intervention prevented it. He was elected president of a large, famous union twice--a union which had known communists among its members. He appeared ONSTAGE to endorse the Democratic presidential candidate, who subsequently won.

I'll fill in the blank for you: RONALD REAGAN.
