I agree. I like Trump, but this stuff is childish. You want to KEEP my vote? Cut it out!
I have been wanting to post something for awhile about Trump vs Cruz. I do not claim to be an expert or know better than anyone else. I have had some experience in elections (I am 61 years old) and have worked in several. Seeing some great men and some no so great has caused me to have concerns about Trump.
I guess the real concern I have about Trump is that it just hasn’t been many years ago that he was expressing completely opposite views on issues that are important to many of us. It is entirely possible that he has had a change of views over the years. I know Ronald Reagan changed from a New Deal Democrat to a strong conservative. But here is the question that many of us who are conservatives are struggling with. How do we know that his “conversion” is genuine, or that he is pulling a “bait and switch” game just to get elected.
Before anyone tells me that Cruz is not perfect I will acknowledge it! No one, aside from the man who walked the roads of Galilee, has been perfect. But Cruz seems to be closer to the real deal than anyone else running.
If Trump wins the nomination I will vote for him. But how do we know for sure that he is closer to another Churchill rather than a wolf in sheep’s clothing? For those of you who are completely in for Trump and think that he is great, please help me! Are you sure that Trump is a conservative and will be great for the country? It seems like we are facing too many dangers to be turning the roulette wheel for our leaders.
Rush is saying everything I’ve been saying since the debate.....nailed it nailed it nailed it.....but the trumpanzees now think Rush and Levin and Cruz are the enemies of conservatism and they’re throwing in with Christie and Kasich and Schumer and McConnell and their boi Trump.
NY VALUES.....LOLOLOL
Looks like Rush may have forfeited all of his future invitations to play golf with The Donald.
Kind of shocked the scales are falling from Rush’s eyes.
Trump has now shown me to be exactly what I thought he was.
Apparently no one else seemed to notice that Cruz was slamming Trump with that “New York values” quote. He could just as easily, and more accurately, said “liberal values” and we all would have agreed with him.
As for Levin, I’m supposed to “know” what Cruz meant when he said “New York values”, but I’m supposed to be moronically literal about anything Trump says? Sorry, no sale.
Frankly, I’m sick of all of them snipping at each other. Why not discuss the ISSUES? I haven’t paid that much attention to the race at all, so I have no clue for whom I will vote. I’ll check them out before the MA primary, because the pack will have been thinned out, by then.
Always has been.
Rush was similarly critical of Newt Gingrich when he went after Romney using the Democrats' playbook.
This cannot help Trump, but it could really help Cruz.
