I was 17 when their first album came out ... I had already been playing guitar for 5 years, but this was the first band that inspired me to go out and get their sheet music so I could learn all the song on the album, which was one of the first I ever bought ... I think I wore out the cassette tape. These guys were one of the driving inspiration for me to keep practicing and playing. This really sucks. All the greats from my adolescent years are dying off. It’s hard to watch them all age, since it is a constant reminder that, no matter how famous or how much money one may have, still we all eventually die.
