Public schools are funded by how many children attend.

I don’t see much wrong with standards - send your kid to a public school, they OWN the kid. Like it or not, government pays the salaries, so government WILL get what they want. So just suck it up and try your best to deprogram your kid every day.

She can find the information any time at her age. Why does this 14 year old want it pushed on young children? Her brain cannot grasp the notion that parents are the primary educator and her teachers are there at the sufferance of the parents. At least, that's the theory. We all know the teacher's unions are the enforcer for the NEA mob.
It's purpose is to destroy the child's natural ( and very protective) modesty.
With modesty destroyed the child is more vulnerable to be the victim of abuse from an adult or child of the same age or more prone to be the abuser.
Hm?....(Silence)....I guess there are as many “good” teachers as there are “moderate” Muslims. There is a difference between Muslims and teachers. If the teachers speak out and move to defend the virtue of their students, no one is going to behead them.
Middle school students? Now middle school are from 11 to 13 (average), so why should they be there. If parents did that, they would have DCF visiting along with the police, with the parents being charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
